 Fence - Before

 Fence - After

 Yard - Before
Joshua mowing yard for 1st time - look at the planters under the window
I weeded out the planters and trimmed roses
 After - Front lanscaped

Garden - Setting up and planting it

Our first harvest from the garden - Raddish
Been fun.  Also set up the swamp cooler this weekend.  So proud of myself for climbing up on the roof and figuring it all out.  Joshua's parents have also been here this week end.  They have been incredibly helpful.  With their help we landscaped the front and made progress on the back, and been working on beautiful custom cabinets.

More to come soon.

Upcoming/Current projects: Roofing, refinishing the deck, painting, landscape backyard, finish staining and installing beautiful cabinets Joshua's father has made.

Not in Kansas Any More...

Ding dong, the door bell rings.  I am surprisingly home during at this time so I mozy on over to answer the door.  "Hello, I am with the City of Sandy Welcome Neighbor Committee.  Your neighbor had told me you just moved in....Here is a welcome packet of things around.  Do you have a hair stylist? Dentist? Dry Cleaner? Gym? Know where the grocery stores are?  Hiking trails?  Here is a packet of information of things available right near by and coupons for them.  Here is my number if you have any questions about the area...."

What a strange community we live in - probably the least expected visit received during the day.  This is not Kansas any more.  It is a whole new world.  But you know what? I like it.  I really like it.
