Growing up we had a tradition on Veteran's and Memorial Day to take a pie to a Veteran. We would ring the door bell, then when they came to the door we would sing the song, "I am proud to be an American." It was so fun and a real great memory. I am grateful that my parents helped teach me to be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, as well as for the individuals who fight so we can keep them and so that others can enjoy them too.Thanks Mom and Dad!
